Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by ENULAR ATELIER LIMITED (“Enular Atelier”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Scotland with company number SC869773.

We are the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our mobile game Horse Man and related online services.

2. Scope

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you create an account, play Horse Man, or otherwise use our game services.

Horse Man is a turn-based strategic party RPG available on iOS and Android.

3. Data we collect

We only collect personal data that is needed to operate the game, provide your account, and keep the service secure. This typically includes:

  • Account details you provide, such as a username and email address.
  • Your password, which is hashed before it is stored. We do not store passwords in plaintext.
  • Gameplay and progress data associated with your account, such as save data, progression, and related game settings.
  • Technical information required to operate the service, such as account identifiers used to retrieve your data from our database.

We do not ask for payment card details through the game itself. Any in-app purchases, if offered, are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. How we store your data

Account and gameplay data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google.

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic hashing before storage. Hashed passwords are not reversible into the original password.

Google acts as our data processor for Firestore hosting. Data may be stored or processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or other countries where Google operates its infrastructure.

5. Why we use your data

We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and provide the game (performance of a contract).
  • To save and restore your gameplay progress (performance of a contract).
  • To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and maintain the service (legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us as a UK company (legal obligation).

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only where needed to run the game: with Google as the provider of Firestore, and with professional advisers or authorities if we are legally required to do so.

If you use Apple App Store or Google Play services (including sign-in or purchases), those platforms process data independently under their own privacy policies.

7. How long we keep data

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the game.

If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymise associated personal data unless we must retain it to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or maintain security.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. This includes hashing all passwords, restricting access to game data, and storing information in Firestore rather than on device-only files for account-linked progress.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should choose a strong, unique password and keep your login details confidential.

9. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

10. Children

Horse Man is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. International transfers

Because we use Google Cloud Firestore, some processing may take place outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, as provided by Google for its cloud services.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Horse Man after an update means you should review the revised policy.
